Quest Hero privacy policy

This policy explains how the Quest Hero mobile application (“the app”) handles information on your device. It applies to your use of Quest Hero.

1. Data controller

The developer listed in App Store Connect is responsible for the app. Privacy enquiries: support@worldarena.games (subject: “Quest Hero — privacy”).

2. What we process and where

On your device. Most information stays on your iPhone or iPad:

quest progress;
quest level text and settings you edit in Parent Mode;
audio recordings you create for levels (if you use that feature);
app preferences stored on the device (e.g. onboarding completion, optional certificate names).

For the app functionality described here, we do not operate a Quest Hero cloud account and do not transmit that local app data to our own servers.

3. Device permissions

Microphone — only if you start a voice recording in Parent Mode. Audio is stored on the device.
Photo library — only if you explicitly save a certificate image to Photos. We do not remotely access your library.

4. Apple and the App Store

Installation, updates, and any in-app purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details from Apple.

5. Analytics and advertising

The current app version does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app analytics that identifies you across apps for the purposes described here. If this changes, this page will be updated.

6. Children and families

The app is designed for family use. Parent Mode is PIN-protected. Parents and guardians should supervise device use in line with household rules and applicable law.

7. Retention and deletion

Data described in section 2 is removed when you delete the app from the device (subject to your own iOS/iCloud backup settings). Some quest files can be reset from within the app where the UI provides that option.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at the URL below. Material changes will, where practicable, be reflected in the App Store listing.
